This past Friday a few friends and I took a trip back in
time to a day of cloche hats, bow ties and saddle shoes. Twice a year a group
of underground Disney Geeks (myself included) look forward to a very special
and delightful occasion called Dapper Day. This is a fashionable outing taking
place at The Disney Resorts in California, Florida and France. As the official
website for the event describes, Dapper Day was inspired by the original Disney
Park designer's illustrations of extremely well dressed guests enjoying the
park. So, Dapper Day is a celebration of the tradition of stepping out in
style!
During the event, you will find beautiful and friendly
smiles as those participating seem to get magically lost in their characters as
though it really were an era of simpler times, grace, and style.
And what better way to welcome Amy to California for the
first time than to bring her along?
Amy Stockton, a cute chick with my same name (must be why
she’s so cool), has been a large supporter of Yoda from the very beginning of
his recovery. Yoda and I recently had the pleasure of spending 4 fun-filled
days with her, showing her sights, snuggling, and laughing. Yoda gave her tours
of Hollywood, The Grove and the Burbank Studios.

face…because he doesn’t understand boundaries ~
Along with her love for Yoda, she is officially a supporter of
our fundrasing efforts through ForTheLoveOfYoda Photography! So, we brought our camera
along to Dapper Day for a super cute photosession at Disneyland! Check out the adorbs photo’s below!:

Dapper Day always seems to come and go too quickly. I can’t
wait for next spring!
